TWQA Publishes New Technical Aids

As part of our ongoing effort to provide tools and assistance to Texas water quality providers and consumers, TWQA has incorporated two new features in our internet presence.

A permanent 'Disaster Recovery' link has been added to the front page of the TWQA website (https://twqa.org). This link provides all visitors with critical information regarding the steps to take when recovering from hurricanes and other flooding-related natural disasters.

In addition, TWQA has set up a technical assistance email, techissues@twqa.org, that can be used by member- and non-member providers, and the general public, when they are facing water quality-related issues and need additional assistance.

When asked about the purpose of the new email, Daina Grace, TWQA Executive Director, replied:

"We want TWQA to be the go-to site for individuals needing assistance regarding water-related issues. The new technical assistance email provides an additional avenue for getting that assistance."

For questions about this article, contact TWQA by email or phone (361.573-6707).

TWQA Adds Supplier Offerings to Website

TWQA is pleased to announce a new member benefit. Over the last weeks, TWQA staff have worked to implement a new feature on the TWQA website. Supplier members can now provide a short description of their primary offerings, making it much easier for dealers to find suppliers that can provide critical products and services.

TWQA added this feature in recognition of the important role our supplier members make to the Association and to the water quality industry. New dealers, using only a list of company names and contacts, often find it difficult to find suppliers that offer specific products and services. New suppliers find it difficult to differentiate their offerings.

Adding a short offering description solves both challenges. Supplier offerings appear in the Supplier Members list that can be accessed from the Hot Spots section of the TWQA home page. Offerings also appear in the 'Thank You' banners of the News and Events sections that appear on website.

The 'Primary Offering' field is now part of the supplier Company Profile (accessible from the 'My Company' button on the Member Tools page). Active members can either update their offerings themselves, or forward a short description to the TWQA offices.

If you have questions about this article, or would like to provide a short description of your primary offerings, please contact Daina Grace, TWQA Executive Director, by email or phone at 361.573-6707.
